Tycoons of the world, get out your pocketbooks. Actually, wait, scratch that — kick back, relax, and let your butler do it for you, because Vertu has a new multi-thousand dollar toy for your enjoyment. The FCC has revealed that Nokia’s ultra-luxe division has finally updated its flagship Signature model to include 3G, and they’ve taken the opportunity to completely redesign it to make it slimmer, hotter, and presumably, pricier than ever before. The all-new Signature features quadband EDGE, HSDPA on the 850 and 2100MHz bands, and WiFi — a Vertu first — which means we should probably expect a fabulous browser to go with that generously-proportioned OLED display. Well, we can’t, since we’ll never get closer than a thick sheet of security glass to this thing — but someone can.
Update: The phone’s officially been unveiled on Vertu’s site as the Signature S Design, hitting a boutique you can’t get into unless you’re dressed to impress near you come next month.

We pretty much gathered that the 6650 was real from that page on Nokia’s domain that has since been pulled, but if there was any lingering doubt, this should take care of it. The specs here confirm what Nokia had spilled — most importantly, that the radio is rocking HSDPA on the 850 and 1900MHz bands, just what the doctor ordered to get some action on AT&T. A quick perusal of the manual shows that it’s N-Gage compatible, though we were a bit surprised to see mentions of video calling; our guess is that they just haven’t updated it for AT&T’s inexplicable aversion to that particular feature yet. It’ll also feature ₨ 3.2, so if you’re in the States and ₨ is how you roll, this puppy’s got to be on your short list. Our money is on it getting official at CTIA next week.

Sure, we′ve seen some blurry videos and a few stolen glimpses when Andy Rubin demonstrated this beast, but now we’ve gotten our hands on a slew of pictures showing off a very real T-Mobile-branded Dream in all its Android-running glory. Not only does this confirm the design spied in those FCC docs as well as show off that nearly-done version of Android, but it seems to confirm the fact that this will be headed to T-Mobile, and sooner rather than later judging from the looks of the above device. Needless to say, our inner-geeks are completely geeking out right now. Hit the gallery below for a handful of other views of the phone.
